A wonderful antique necklace with a musical provenance! This 1910s necklace was awarded to Frances Riddell as first prize for the vocal solo competition of the Arion Club. It's a lovely pendant & chain with amber glass beads, a lovely musical motif to the pendant and beautifully engraved script to its back include the date April 6, 1914.

Lovely with normal signs of use for its age, the lower half of the back of the pendant is burnished and the lettering in this area is harder to read, minor burnishing and scant corrosion to areas of the necklace that is hard to notice
