Domaine des Miquettes Madloba is a bold natural wine from the Saint-Joseph appellation in the northern Rhône Valley. Crafted by Paul Estève and Chrystelle Vareille, this wine is made from 100% Syrah, grown biodynamically on a high plateau above the villages of Tournon and Sécheras. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo spontaneous fermentation, followed by a unique aging process in buried amphorae for 12 months (6 months maceration and 6 months aging), which imparts a distinctive texture and depth to the wine.

The word Madloba, meaning "thank you" in Georgian, reflects the inspiration behind the amphora aging method. This wine showcases classic Syrah characteristics: dark fruit like blackberry and plum, balanced with spicy and floral notes and earthy minerality from the Rhône's granite soils. With its silky tannins and lively acidity, it pairs beautifully with rich dishes like lamb, beef, and game.
