DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube clock radio model from Zenith made in 1960 in excellent plus working and physical condition. This radio looks brand new!

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Very loud, clear sounding across entire frequency range.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded glossy light blue plastic back with chrome gold and black attractive front. All original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted. No over spray. Not touched up. Usually this model chrome painted top and bottom front edges show more chrome paint rub off. Not this one. No cracks or major scratches or missing pieces. Clear clock cover is original with no cracks, chips, or scratches and securely attached. No heat crack on top. Shiny front gold painted grill is in excellent plus condition with no fading and no greening. Clock gold metal window trim is in excellent shiny condition with no dents, dings, or tarnish.

KNOBS: Original volume and tuning knobs are securely attached no cracks, no broken attachment posts, no missing center metal inserts.  Two original matching clock function levers.

LOGO: The front grill and Zenith crown badge logo plate is in excellent condition.

DIAL LIGHT: No tuning dial light. Not designed with one. But can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK:  Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm and clock set function works and goes off at the correct set times. No alarm buzzer wake to radio only. No sleep timer. Clock face is in excellent condition with clear numbers no rust no oxidation or greening. No water stains. Back clock and alarm time set screw is not missing. Turns with ease.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static free performance in the future. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The original thick power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. Cord is a little stiff but not brittle.

BACKING BOARD: None. Color matching blue plastic back cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or melted heat vanes.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: Missing bottom factory labels.
