BLUETOOTH: This radio original vacuum tube circuitry is retained, repaired, and modified to play Bluetooth as well as AM radio. The internal circuit is not gutted. Repeat: the internal electronics have not been gutted and replaced with modern electronics. All modifications are reversible. In Bluetooth mode, plays Bluetooth wirelessly from any iPhone, iPad, Android, Huawei, Google phone, etc over 30 ft. Only through Retro Radio Farm, Bluetooth circuitry is completely internal and integrated with the original AM receiver inside the radio! No external plugs, cables, or peripheral devices! Switch from Bluetooth to AM and radio and back to Bluetooth with rocker switch installed on back panel. Pairs within seconds. No batteries to recharge! Sounds great! No noise from Bluetooth circuitry!

DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube radio manufactured by General Electric in 1966 time frame in excellent physical and working condition. Very popular base model from General Electric. GE made millions of these!

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory beige molded plastic. Original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted, not touched up or over sprayed.  Clear original clear plastic clock window is in excellent condition, not cracked, no chips, not yellowed with age, not warping and securely attached, clear letters not rubbed off. Clock display back panel is in excellent condition with no rust or water stains no oxidation trails. Nice contrasting and classic gold tan color combination. Ivory plastic is yellowed unevenly on top due to unequal exposure to light over time. No cigarette burns. or edge chips.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without an external antenna. 

KNOBS: Original factory matching tuning and volume dials work fine. Securely attached. Original matching clock function knobs no broken posts no stripped inner slots. Gold center inserts are rusted.

DIAL LIGHT: None. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm set function works. Alarm works. Clock set works.

LOGOS: Logo on the cabinet base is crisp and clear.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS:  All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers have been rebuilt to ensure static free performance. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. 

POWER CORD: Original power cord and plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair.

BACKING BOARD: Original backing board intact excellent condition.

PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to cigarette smoking, moisture, or pets. Was probably used in or near kitchen for much of its life.
