DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM FM solid state radio manufactured by Zenith in 1965 in excellent physical and working condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded in white plastic with top and side walnut grain paint finish. No cracks, chips or major scratches or missing pieces. Front tuning clear window is in excellent condition no cracks, chips, or broken attach tabs, securely mounted. Tuning aluminum metal fascia is in excellent condition no rust no oxidation tracks.

KNOBS: Original knobs are matching and securely attached. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots.

LOGO: No missing logos.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: Original white color matching power cord and plug are in excellent working condition. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: Original factory backing board with clear factory print.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing labels. Bottom factory label is original, mostly intact and readable. Yellowed with age.

USER MANUAL; Original user manual is included. It is quite a feat this user manual has been kept with the clock radio for almost 60 years!
