Beautiful solid wood construction tabletop tube radio manufactured by RCA Victor in 1938 in excellent+ working and physical condition. Handcrafted wood cabinet from Ingraham of Bristol, CT. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial with external antenna attachment. Any long hank of wire will do.  Excellent construction and design! Solid wooden curved on all sides with nice decorative edge inlays. Few dings, scratches and dents from over the decades from normal wear and tear but not abuse. Not refinished. All original factory finish! Front grill cloth is original intact no tears, fraying or moth bites no holes no smells no stains. Original varnish is still glossy condition some age checking. This cabinet is curvaceous and hefty but not heavy, it looks like it's been carved out of a solid block of wood. No missing chunks or pieces. No separated joints or repairs. No cracks, chips, or discoloration. Bottom has four rubber feet to protect your furniture. The knobs are brown plastic securely attached. This radio is over 75 years old! Brand new replacement dial glass numbering and lettering is 100% crisp and clear. The tuning and volume dials work fine. No slipping. The unit powers on and off with a definitive click. Dial light works and lights brightly. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The brand new replacement power cord and plug with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. No missing factory labels on the bottom. Backing board is missing. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
