This Used 2015 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue in Lemon Burst is here on consignment for a great friend and former employee of the shop, so you know it has been well-cared for. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case and pickups. 

This specific guitar is basically an R9 but since it has a CS Serial Number, not an R9 number, and a Short Neck Tenon, it was $1000 less at the time of original purchase. I know, weird but that's Gibson for you. It is an absolute tone monster thanks to a pair of Pete A. Flynn humbuckers. The original pickups are included with the guitar as is the original hardshell case. 

The top, finish, and Zebra-Coil pickups on this guitar remind me of Collector's Choice #4 Sandy, one of my personal favorites of the series! It's not only beautiful but a very nice playing guitar. The action is low and it has a fast, slinky feel.

All the hallmarks of the 59 Standard are present: bound body/fingerboard, highly figured maple top, one-piece mahogany body, and a fuller-feeling 59 neck profile. Fuller meaning it is thicker and has more shoulder than several of the Murphy Lab 59 LP's I compared it to. Personally, I prefer this neck profile to the thinner necks found on the current versions. As mentioned, it does not have the long neck tenon of the R9, but other than that, it's got all the same stuff!
