This Asia table was hand made from elm around late 19th century by the craftsman from Shanxi province, a province with rich history and culture in the Northern part of China.  The top shows age proper patinas, dents, knots, naturally aged lines, spots, and wear and tears. The restoration to this antique table from countryside of Shanxi Province is kept to minimum intentionally. Four elegantly shaped legs, ending in horse hoof feet and humpback stretchers. All joints are still firm and tight.  A fine example of traditional Chinese joinery: Every piece of wood is calculated to interlock in a seamless way to provide structural strength and enhances the beauty of the design. This table with its original brown color, beautiful aged top will make an astonishing  accent table.
