Condition: Excellent pre-owned vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Very minimal gold loss and a few light utensil marks. Please see photos.
Details: Vintage, possibly antique porcelain serving platter rimmed with swags of pink flowers and a gilt gold edge. Marked on the back with "GDA France" in green and "GDA Limoges" in red.
Gerard et Dufraiuseix "GD" produced wares in Limoges, France specifically for export to the United States. The "A" in "GDA" was added in 1901 and stands for Abbot, who was the importer and distributor of these wares in the United States. This mark was used until 1941.
