Contitech Vintner Reserve Transfer Hose

Contitech (formerly Goodyear) Vintner Reserve Hose is the first crushproof hose in the winery & brewery industry. As the originator, it has proven to be the most reliable and popular brand. It is made of high-quality EPDM, it will not impart taste or transfer odour and will perform for many years. This hose is a unique lightweight, 'crush resistant' alternative to traditional softwall or steel wire reinforced hoses. Vintner hose has a special polyester monofilament helix, which will not corrode or rust and will tend to spring back to shape when crushed. It is suitable for gravity flow, pressure, or suction (27"/hg) of NON-OILY edible products and fluids, such as wine, beer, and potable water. It is also designed to withstand a variety of chemicals and substances (including ozone) that may be found in a brewery, winery, or distillery (refer to EPDM chemical resistance charts). This allows an increased range of cleaning options and better coupling retention when exposed to high temperatures.  It is made of FDA-compliant compounds and is USDA and 3-A sanitary standard 18-03 compliant. Its smooth cover and tube prevent material and bacteria buildup. We offer Vintner Hose in both bulk and as a hose assembly with Tri-Clamp Ends.

Contitech Vintner hose is transitioning to EPDM liners for additional reliability and compatibility. There is a limited stock of chlorobutyl-lined hose remaining.

Hose Bumpers

Silicone Hose Bumper

The silicone bumper provides practical and simple bumper protection for 1 1/2" and 2" hoses. This bumper does not interfere with the function of the hose end and offers basic protection from drops and dings.

Sliding Hose Bumper

Designed by Dixon to be lightweight and protective this bumper offers complete protection without interfering with the function of your hose. This bumper is made of FDA polypropylene plastic. When in the forward position it covers the Tri-Clamp end fully, protecting the rim from damage. It easily slides back to allow unrestricted access to the connection when needed. This bumper works with our new hose ends only and comes in 1" and 1 1/2".
