Begin the new year with a calming and meditative creative practice. Join us in a workshop to slow down before we race into 2026. In this relaxing class there’s no rush, and no right or wrong. Connect with nature and develop the focus and flow you need to create from the heart. Build a restorative art practice that grounds, heals, and comforts you through all life’s ups and downs.

Slow stitch is the “about face” to our grandmothers Cross Stitch. Say goodbye to all of the counting keeping track of the threads. In this workshop you will allow yourself a moment to experience natural dying using forged materials. Make a sampler that can be used as a patch, special pouch for keepsakes or frame as a stitched collage. Build texture with basic stitches. Dye and develop beautiful hues on fabric. You will also have access to swatches from Maria Luna's personal stash to use in your work.

Assortment of natural textiles
DMC threads
Needle
