The Ryusen Ryu Wa series is made using high performance SG2 steel lamiated in soft stainless. SG2 (Super Gold II) Is known for its high corrosion resistance, long edge life, and sharpness comparable to purer carbon steels. The handle is made from walnut with octagonal and tapered sides that fits amazingly in hand.
