Yoshimi Kato is a very talented bladesmith located in Echizen Japan, who works primarily from Takefu Knife Village. This line is hand forged from SG2 / R2 steel and cladded in a stainless nickel damascus. The blade has a deep etch to create high contrast between the layers of damascus. This series is lightweight and nimble overall with very thin grinds. The handle is rosewood and red pakka wood octagon suitable for both right or left hand users.
