The Thermolyne Locator 4 is a compact cryogenic storage system that features durable construction and advanced vacuum insulation to minimize liquid nitrogen (LN₂) evaporation for economical operation. Temperature uniformity assures that samples remain at –180°C even when the vessel contains less than 5cm liquid nitrogen.

Testing

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians thoroughly test all equipment to ensure it functions properly and meets the manufacturer’s specifications. When you place an order, we fill dewars with liquid nitrogen to standard levels and monitor the evaporation rate. If the unit has autofill functionality, we connect it to an LN2 tank to verify all components work correctly. 

If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
