This VWR vacuum oven features a side-mounted three-way valve for evacuation, venting and purging of inert gases (e.g., Nitrogen or Argon) with vacuum fittings on the side of the unit; silicone door gasket and positive latch door that maintains a seal at all vacuum levels; built-in over-temperature protection; vacuum level is displayed on the gauge from -1 to 0 in Bars in 0.2 increments; powder-coated heavy-gauge steel exterior for durability; easy-to-clean type 304 stainless-steel interior chamber; and a radiant warm-wall heating system optimizes uniformity and conserves chamber space for drying, curing, vacuum embedding and plating applications.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test ovens using a calibrated digital chart recorder to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts and run the unit under vacuum to ensure chamber integrity. We typically leave an oven under vacuum for 24 hours to make sure the pressure holds. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
