The Eppendorf 5415R benchtop centrifuge is a compact, low-profile unit designed for use in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and clinical chemistry laboratories. The Eppendorf 5415R has a compact footprint for use on all lab benches as well as a low profile design for ergonomic loading/unloading of rotor that allows for complete lid opening under shelves. This centrifuge is equipped with the OptiBowl design which provides whisper quiet operation even without rotor lid. The Eppendorf 5415R has a temperature range from 0°C to 40°C and maintains constant 4°C at maximum speed. It also comes with the FastTemp program function for fastest pre-cooling and maximum temperature accuracy inside the rotor.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
