The Nuaire NU430-400 4' B2 biological safety cabinet is a total exhaust cabinet. Class II Type B2 biological safety cabinets provide product, operator and environmental protection and are suitable for work with trace amounts of toxic chemicals and agents assigned to biological safety levels I, II or III.

In a Class II Type B2 cabinet, all inflow and downflow air is exhausted after HEPA/ULPA filtration to the external environment without recirculation across the work surface. They require being connected to HVAC ducting to expel the exhaust on the outside of the building.

Nuaire NU430-400 – Features

Widely used in toxicology laboratories and other applications in which chemical effluent is present and clean air is essential, the Nuaire NU430-400 recirculates 0% air, as the exhausted air is pulled through a dedicated exhaust duct into the facility exhaust system. In other words, hard ducted to outside the facility, similar to a chemical fume hood.

The entire cabinet shell and all internal plenums and structures on the Nuaire NU430-400 are constructed from Type 304 stainless steel for increased chemical resistance to acids/solvents which are normally used in applications which require a fume hood.

Testing

This Nuaire NU430-400 biosafety cabinet is fully reconditioned and ready for use. Our technicians test each biosafety cabinet and clean bench to ensure that the controls and blower motor work properly, as well as ensuring that the HEPA filter is suitable for use in lab conditions. Our testing procedure includes all the elements of certification in order to ensure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site.
