The 5’ Nuaire LabGard ES NU629-500 is tailor-made for work in a vivarium by integrating an NSF-listed 12” (305mm) work access opening for cage access, castors and pull bars for mobility, and height adjustability for user ergonomics. This design also rises to the unique challenges of controlling airflow in a particulate-heavy environment.

In vivariums, a standard biosafety cabinet's HEPA filters can saturate quickly due to hair and dander accumulation. However, adapting the cabinet with a pre-filter efficiently addresses this issue. By capturing larger particles, the pre-filter allows HEPA filters to handle finer particulate, extending their lifespan. Conveniently located on the back wall, the pre-filter is easy to remove and maintain.
