Performance across extended size ranges may be evaluated through experimentation. For accurate results, the test specimen should be appropriately sized without overloading individual test sieves, as overloading can lead to incomplete separation or damage.

SS-8R Sieve Shaker – Features

The SS-8R comes with an SSA-805R Sound Enclosure that effectively controls noise and dust, making it ideal for laboratory use. Its sturdy painted steel case, featuring full-width hinged doors, is lined with 1-inch sound-attenuating foam to minimize disturbances during operation.

Testing

The Gilson SS-8R is used and reconditioned. We test the shaking mechanism for extended periods of time to make sure all set points operate on continuous setting. If the shaker is incubated, we use an external digital probe to verify the temperature displayed is accurate.

While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the typical operating conditions. If you have specific testing requirements or requests, please inform us. We will gladly work with you to ensure these requirements are addressed during testing.
