This VWR mini orbital shaker has a 3 mm stroke orbit and is designed to mix samples with a consistent circular motion. This model can be used in CO2 incubators and/or cold rooms.

VWR 12620-938 Shaker - Features

The digital display shows both time and speed with an audible alarm on the timer function. A ramping feature allows you to slowly increase speed to a particular set point. Included tray can be used as a platform for mounting Erlenmeyer flask clamps, test tube racks, or microplate holders.

Independent LED display features speed, temperature, and time. Timer will display elapsed time, or, when programmed to user-defined limit, will count down to zero and shut off unit where an audible alarm will sound. Durable base is constructed of cast aluminum for extra stability.

Testing

The VWR Orbital Shaker is used and reconditioned. We test the shaking mechanism for extended periods of time to make sure all set points operate on continuous setting. If the shaker is incubated, we use an external digital probe to verify the temperature displayed is accurate.

While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the typical operating conditions. If you have specific testing requirements or requests, please inform us. We will gladly work with you to ensure these requirements are addressed during testing.
