The Sorvall RC-3C Plus has been an industry standard for years. This is a reliable machine that delivers safe, reproducible results and comes with several built-in safety features. The Sorvall RC-3C Plus is a lowspeed refrigerated often used in clinical laboratories, blood banks, and university and industrial labs. The RC-3C Plus operates at less than 60 dB, the noise level of a typical conversation. The motor is brushless and the microprocessor controls set the speeds, time of run, and temperature within precise limits based on user inputs. The RC-3C Plus can store 10 distinct programs and is compatible with a total of 12 rotors. The braking system of the Sorvall RC-3C Plus is electronic dynamic and allows for acceleration and deceleration control settings.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
