The Sorvall RT6000D is suitable for all lower speed, large tube applications, including spinning 50mL and 15mL conical tubes. The Sorvall RT6000D has a digital readout display, closed-loop speed control and a see-through chamber door that allows rotor calibration and visual inspection during a run in progress. A slow start feature that gradually accelerates from 0 to 600rpm minimizes cell disruption. Manual lock lid. Temperature is maintained to within 1°C of setpoint from -5°C to +25°C.

This Sorvall RT6000D refrigerated benchtop centrifuge is being sold with an H-1000B four place swinging bucket rotor (3200rpm max, 4 x 250mL capacity).

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
