The BioRad MyCycler thermal cycler provides excellent performance for PCR and other thermal cycling techniques. The heating and cooling system is Peltier driven. The MyCycler has a heated lid that eliminates the need for any oil overlay in the sample tubes.

With two modes of operation – algorithm and block – the MyCycler offers two modes of temperature control, both of which yield excellent results. The display is large and easy to read and the user interface is intuitive. Each programmed protocol may include as many as 9 cycles with 9 steps each and up to 99 repeats for each cycle.

Testing

This thermal cycler is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications.

While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. Please let us know if you have specific testing requirements. We’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.

Pictures

The photos above are representative. The equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
