The Nikon Eclipse TS100 infinity-corrected stereo microscope is a small and quite lightweight (6.5 kg) inverse microscope which nevertheless has a robust, vibration-resistant body. The stand enables long (190 mm maximum height) working distances and high numerical apertures, which makes the Eclipse TS100 particularly suitable for working with cell cultures and life science imaging.

The optical system of the Eclipse TS100 features Nikon’s acclaimed CFI-60 lenses. Combined with the eco LED fly-eye lens that provides uniform brightness across the entire 22 mm field of view, bright, high-resolution images can be obtained. The quintuple nosepiece for 5 objectives is handy and rotates easily. The ergonomic Siedentopf-type eyepiece tube with a 45 degree incline and a 40 cm eyepoint height is very practical. The coaxial coarse/fine focus knob ensures accurate focusing at high magnifications.
