The ocean's roar is music to my soul.

A wonderful piece of agatized fossil coral, with it's creamy background and copper inclusions, is set in a copper bezel sitting atop a hand stamped square copper layer.  The band, using laser textured paper with a beautiful leaf print, was rolled through my rolling mill to give it lots of added detail.  The copper was then oxidized and coated in a protective lacquer to protect the patina as well as the wearer.

Such a fun piece that goes with everything.

Cuff is size Small-Medium: measuring 6 " with a 1 1/4" opening and semi adjustable.

Fossil coral is a natural type of gemstone formed by ancient corals. The proper name for fossil coral is 'agatized coral' or 'agatized fossil coral', because during formation, the coral remains are gradually replaced with agate, a variety of naturally occurring chalcedony, or microcrystalline quartz.

I make all the jewerly myself! I usually start with sterling silver sheet and sterling silver wire (or Gold filled ) and forge it with hammers, saws, stamps, 
hydraulic press, etc.  and all most always, there is a silversmithing torch involved. I use genuine stones, unless noted and mainly sterling silver, but also love other metals like gold filled, gold bronze and copper and I especially love pure gold when price isn't an issue for my customer.  Sometimes I even play with brass or german silver when requested.  I absolutely love making jewelry and am so happy I get to do this for a living.
