ARL44 is France's entry to the arms race. It was a secret project developed during German occupation.

Production did not start until late because much of the production facilities were destroyed.

A total of 60 tanks were produced to boost morale and Nationalism for the country.

The Heavy Tanks final appearance was at the 1951 celebration of the French Revolution.

This is the only 1/35 scale injection molded kit available.
