We classify our silk flowers as either a flower spray, flower stem, flower bush or a bridal bouquet. A flower spray and flower stem are actually the exact same thing, just worded differently, and have flowers attached to what looks like a single stem. A flower bush has multiple stems attached to a 4-6" non-decorative plug that can inserted into a pot filled with a medium of your choice. We don't recommend glass vases for flower bushes without a medium as you'll see the non-decorative plug at the bottom. Our flower bouquets, (sometimes also called bundles), contain multiple individual flower stems that can usually be taken apart if you'd like.

OUTDOOR READY: This item is classified by the manufacturer as being outdoor ready. To simplify this we break up all outdoor ready products into 3 different groups. Please match this products title to below to determine its recommended usage.

• If the product title only has Outdoor and/or Water Resistant in the title: A material that won't absorb water. Not UV resistant and will fade over time. Not recommended for direct sunlight. No warranty or guarantee is included. To increase longevity apply an outdoor UV spray.


• UV-Resistant in the title: Materials infused with UV inhibitors that will delay fading. Length of time before fading will vary significantly depending on location and thickness of materials used. Lasting many years in northern states under partial sun but much less in southern states like Arizona, Texas and Florida under all day direct sun. No warranty or guarantee is included. To increase longevity apply an outdoor UV spray.


• UV-Proof in the title: A type of plastic material infused with UV inhibitors that is guaranteed to delay fading for a minimum of 5 years, (3 years for Arizona, Texas and Florida), and withstand the ravages of wind, rain, ice, snow, and people. To increase longevity apply an outdoor UV spray.

FIRE RETARDANT: This item is classified as IFR, which means inherent fire retardant. Certain topical finishes create an oily film on the surface of leaves and flowers. Our gorgeous and completely safe inherit fire retardant (IFR) silk plants and flowers do not drip or produce the slightest mess at all.

Our IFR items meet all the required criteria for either the National Fire Prevention Association 701 test or the ASTM E84-95 Standard Test Methods for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials. So, if you are researching your options for indoor or outdoor silk plants that aren't a fire hazard, our IFR creations are not only the safest, made with great attention to detail and care but also have a realism that is timeless.

Upon your request after your purchase we can provide the following certificates based on the product materials: ASTM E84 for all item SCU's starting with PR, NFPA701 for all item SCU's starting with AR. We do not have certifications for any other SCU's or any item marked as PVC. Please inquire with your Fire Marshall for PVC usage as it's never been an issue before as PVC is already a fire retardant material.
