Billy Healy arrived in America from his home in Waterford, Ireland 30 years ago. In celebration of this anniversary, he has created a new Master Work carving: The Lighthouse Vase. 

This richly textured carving of a Lighthouse is polished in gold and silver, complete with a gleaming golden crystal for the lighthouse lamp.  The vase features a beautifully carved moon upon the back of the vase and a full wrap-around carving of intricate, highly detailed waves, highlighted by shimmering silvery-blue crystals!

The Lighthouse is inspired by the famous Fastnet Lighthouse, the last point of land in Ireland seen by those departing its shores in the 19th Century as they began their long journey to America. Throughout history, lighthouses have served as important landmarks when navigating uncertain waters, providing guidance, hope and optimism.  These steadfast towers stand reliable, strong and true, symbols of reassurance, safety and welcome for those ending one journey, and of farewell, transition and new beginnings for those whose journey has just begun.

The gorgeous 11” vase is made of the finest European crystal, blown by skilled master glass artisans to create a piece fit for Billy's one-of-a-kind carving.  Each vase has its own unique finish, deeply hand-carved and polished by Billy with each individual accent crystal set by hand.  Our fine art glass carvings have an exceptional, hand-crafted finish you will be proud to give or to own.
