• A5 medium is ideal as a personal scrapbook, and portrait or square are the best formats at this size. 
• A4 large is perfect for contributions from many people. Landscape is good for events it drapes open beautifully on a table, whereas portrait is good for a more compact feeling end result.

How to stick photos etc in a scrapbook

I recommend acid-free options for fixing photographs, cards, cuttings, swatches and more into your Memory Book:

• Glue dots, washi tape and photo corners are readily available and are easy to use options for safely storing your precious memories. 
• You could also try spray-mount for a minimalist look. 
• Why not include a few attractive envelopes with their opening facing you, to tuck in very delicate items.
• Please do not use sellotape in your scrapbook! It will degrade over time, becoming yellow, brittle and very unsightly, not to mention unsafe.
