Designed by Belgian designers Muller Van Severen, the Colour Cabinet collection is a series of floor standing cabinets that highlight the contradictory interplay between clean, minimalist design with the vibrance and originality of colour. With functionality as a starting point, the designers focus on the use of materials to explore contrasts and similarities in the materials and colours used, showcasing the materials’ natural beauty in essential furniture items. The cabinet body is crafted in organically dyed Valchromat – a unique kind of robust MDF material that is FSC-certified, with the supporting frame made in durable steel. The Colour Cabinets are available in a wide range of different variants and sizes, in both mono- and multi-colour options – from a single wall cupboard to a low media storage unit to a multi-shelf cabinet with sliding glass doors. Its versatile design and numerous options make it suitable for a wide variety of storage and display uses in many different private and public contexts.
