Spectacularly large, this vintage rhinestone dress clip convertible brooch / duette dates to the 40s (possibly the 30s). It features 2 triangularly shaped dress clips covered in very large brilliant rhinestones with smaller rhinestones, all prong set, interspersed. When placed together in the duette frame, they become one very large, very beautiful rhinestone brooch. All stones are prong set.

Measurements:  Each individual dress clip is 1 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" high. When placed together on the frame, the entire pin measures 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" high.

Signed:  Unsigned except the frame which is marked Pat. Pend.

Condition:  In very good condition. There is some scuffing to the frame and a tiny bit on the clip backs, obviously from removing the frame and replacing it. All stones are present and mostly clear with brilliant sparkle. Under magnification, speckling is in the foil backing and one has a little more than the others. Nonetheless, this brooch is quite beautiful and a real dazzler!
