Another favorite tradition in the McVey household is our annual planting of paperwhite bulbs (aka narcissus), as well as amaryllis bulbs, and forcing them indoors.  It's such a treat to be able to watch something grow and thrive and BLOOM during the winter months when everything is so cold and gray outside!  Portable Paperwhites Perfect Gift [EP5vTiup] are especially thrilling because of how quickly they grow!  You can measure with a ruler and see them grow literally an entire inch in a day!
