These post hoops feature some stunningly blue Morenci II turquoise from Nacozari, Mexico with large flecks of shimmery pyrite. I framed the bottoms of the stones with two layers of smooth wire to cradle the points. 

The backs of each stone are stamped with my maker's mark and STERLING, and the earrings will come with sterling silver backings.

Turquoise is considered a relatively soft and porous stone, and as with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
