This size 10 ring features a new material for me and I'm absolutely in love – gold sheen obsidian!

The shimmer and play of light in these stones is so exciting and beautiful, but is also subtle enough to not be super flashy. This stone is also cut into one of my favorite shapes to work with, the kite. It's playful and classy all at once.

I wrapped this stone in two layers of decorative wire, twisted and smooth and the back of the ring is stamped with my maker's mark and STERLING.. The ring band also has a lightly hammered texture.

Handmade by me, Stephanie Stamp, under the sunny skies of New Mexico. Turquoise is considered a relatively soft and porous stone, and as with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
