These handcrafted hoops measure  just over 2" in diameter and feature a set of glowy Mexican amber from Chiapas nestled between the claws of handmade scorpion castings.

I call these swing hoops because of the way the hoop is secured to the back. It allows for so much free movement and they absolutely dance while being worn. 

The ear wires are sterling silver, and the backs of each stone are stamped with my maker's mark and STERLING.

Turquoise is considered a relatively soft and porous stone, and as with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
