Essential Serendipity Holiday Edition [cKmq4zHa] was painted largely with just a palette knife, and then finished off with a paint brush.  Painting with a palette knife -- for me, anyway -- means giving up some control over what the paint will do and exactly where it will go.  The palette knife causes it to move in ways that are sometimes unexpected, and that's where some really beautiful movement can happen!

Essential Serendipity Holiday Edition [cKmq4zHa] is bold and bright and would certainly be a lovely focal point over a fireplace mantel or perhaps over a piano.  It is definitely a conversation starter and would take center stage wherever you choose to style it!

The background was painted out in the softest, lightest (almost-white-but-not) gray, so that those dynamic florals can truly sing!
