Harro Siegel (1900-1985) is a legendary German puppeteer. His accomplishments as an artist, puppet maker, performer and teacher makes him an important figure in the world of puppetry. His puppet creations combine both visual beauty and outstanding carving designs and are very rare and highly sought after!
Here's one of his wonderful creations depicting a Monster Puppet Head. Finely hand crafted in Germany circa 1940s, this piece is great in every detail. Once part of a full body hand puppet (see last picture as a reference), this head is carved in such way that achieves multiple expressions depending on the angle it is held. It has been used and shows wear with paint loss, scuffs, fading etc. Also note that the jaw piece and the horns are missing! Don't miss this chance to bring home a rare museum piece by one of the greatest German puppet designers!
- Condition: Used and pre-owned antique hand puppet head. Shows wear with paint loss, scuffs, fading etc. The jaw piece and the horns are missing! Please determine the condition by yourself, taking a close look at all pictures and asking questions.
