Similar to other mid-century Steiff toys, this puppet has the most sweet expression and was expertly handmade in Germany between 1959-67 using the finest mohair plush. The gorgeous airbrushing work and his pronounced tipped mane give this character a nice distressed look that everyone adores. And this puppet is special not only because of its eye-catching look but also because it retains ALL tags and seems unused. He has an embroidered nose and mouth and nylon whiskers.
