Here's a beautiful antique Pretty Polly hand puppet toy. She is a character from an old Punch & Judy Show designed for children. Pretty Polly is the unvoiced love of Mr Punch! This puppet is nicely carved and beautifully hand painted. Notice her expressive decal eyes. She has a fabric body with wooden hands and legs. She is from German origin, likely made in the early/mid 1900s. Her structure is solid and displays well but she shows some wear, gained during his many years of life. However his imperfections give her an added layer of personality that only early toys have. This great piece of history will certainly be a special addition to your old toy collection!
