The brand Grisly was founded in 1954 and produced a variety of high quality Teddy Bears and stuffed animals. Here's a rare Teddy Bear Hand Puppet from the early times of the company. Similar to other toys of the 1950s, this puppet was finely handcrafted in Germany using the best materials. Teddy has a sweet expression with endearing glass eyes. His body is made of fine mohair plush and shows the Grisly's metal button on his chest. He also retains a working squeaker inside his body! His head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This adorable bear puppet will be a great addition to any vintage toy collection!
