Else Hecht was born in 1888 in Munich. She was a craftswoman, puppeteer and came from a family of artists. Her puppets and dolls are rare and highly sought after. Here's one of her wonderful creations depicting a handsome Boy with a nice expression. This puppet has a pressed felt face with button eyes and delicate painted features. His body is made of felt and his garment is adorned with some lovely details. He wears a felt hat with feathers. Similar to other Else Hecht toys of the early-mid 1900s, this puppet was finely handcrafted in Germany using the best available materials. The attention to detail and craftsmanship are remarkable. This puppet hasn't been used and is in excellent condition but no longer holds the Else Hecht's tag.
