Teddy bear is one of Steiff's most famous animals and he is even more charming in puppet form! This iconic character has a sweet expression that is hard not to love. Like other toys of the time, this Teddy puppet was finely handcrafted in Germany circa 1960-70s. Steiff uses the nicest mohair plush and it is not a surprise that Teddy presents beautifully even after so many years. He has a hand-stitched nose, an open felt mouth and two big paws that are ready for a hug. His head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a plastic finger tube for movement. He is missing his button and ear tag but retains his chest tag "Hand Teddy" as his ID. Little Teddy Bear can't wait to join your vintage toy collection!
