INVICTA was a toy manufacturer based in London, United Kingdom. They produced fine plush animals from 1935-54 only and the short life of the company made their creations scarce. And if their regular Teddy Bears are hard to come by, expect a Teddy in puppet form to be even rarer!

Here's a great example of a 1950s Invicta Teddy Hand Puppet with the most endearing look. His expressive glass eyes and short arms are adorable. Little Teddy carries one of Invicta's distinctive features: the prominent hand-stitched nose! His body is made of fine wool plush and his paw pads are velvet. His head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This adorable puppet is in very good used condition but the velvet pads show some age staining.
