This exquisite hand drawn batik was made for the Japanese market (Hokokai). The dark sore panel with sea creatures along with indigo diagonal patterns with motifs of flowers and birds. The lighter pagi section contains an array of traditional kraton motifs including parang kris and kawung ying yang with Flowers overlaid. Traditional borders with gigi walang or cricket teeth and the tuffs of rice. Excellent condition.
