A stunning hybrid from Carnivero's breeding stable.  Song of Melancholy was of one Leilani Nepenthes's signature crosses and is believed to be Nepenthes boschiana x (spectabilis x veitchii).  The male parent is our Nepenthes veitchii (k) "Pink Candy Cane".  This is a fast and vigorous grower that seems to do well under intermediate and lowland conditions.  We expect the pitchers to be large and amazingly colorful as they mature.
