Borg & Beck Over running Alternator Pulleys

Vehicle manufacturers have created Freewheeling Clutch Pulleys to compensate for the increasing amount of inertia generated within the alternator through the constant acceleration/de-acceleration of the engine. The Freewheeling Clutch Pulley will help prevent damage to the drive belt and other associated parts by reducing the inertia that is caused from the tension/vibration in the alternator drive belt.
