Matrix Switch Corporation 'Compact 1RU SDI Video Routing Switchers' offer many product variations and provide several matrix size, control panel and extra audio options for flexibility in purchasing only those features that are needed. These systems are all 1RU in height and less than 5 inches deep, allowing for installation in space and weight limited situations.

Many Matrix Switch Corporation Compact Router models have quad or dual SDI video outputs per destination, which can eliminate the need for extra distribution amplifiers in some situations.

The extra audio options provide audio routing capabilities in addition to the included embedded SDI audio routing support. Either AES digital or analog stereo audio can be chosen and is integrated in the same 1RU sized frame.

The choice of a button control panel or status only panel provides an additional savings opportunity for applications that utilize a remote control panel or are only controlled via the webpage interface, telnet or RS-232 serial.
