The Xtimate series columns are specifically designed for liquid chromatography methods, offering the flexibility to use a wide range of mobile phase systems and a broad temperature spectrum across the entire pH range for method development. These columns are based on ultrapure fully porous spherical silica, and feature Welch Materials' unique organic-inorganic graft bonding technology. This technology maintains the high strength and high-resolution core of the silica matrix, while also grafting a highly pH-stable organic hybrid layer on the surface, extending the pH stability range to 1-12.5.

Xtimate C4 column uses modified silica from the Xtimate series, retaining the advantages of the series. It is the preferred choice for MS and ELSD detectors.
