This water pump shaft kit is suitable for the six-bolt pump with bearings, which is the successor to the earlier plain-bearing pump. This pump has a Volvo Penta reference #829895, which is equivalent to Johnson pump 10-35098-3. Most of the aforementioned models had the plain-bearing pump originally installed, so please double-check that your current pump is ball-bearing.
