This Howards Cams 120325-08 BBC Hydraulic Roller Camshaft is designed for 396-502 cubic inch Big Block Chevy engines from 1965 through 1996. Howards designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features great low & mid-range power and a lopey idle. A 10.0:1+ compression ratio, an aftermarket dual plane intake, headers, lower rear end gears, and a 2400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
